At a special congregational meeting on Sunday, October 26, the Rev. Garnett H. Slatton, Jr. was elected to become the eighth senior pastor of Bay Presbyterian Church by an overwhelmingly affirmative vote of 514 to 4. Garnett Slatton, 52, comes to BPC from River Community Church, an Evangelical Presbyterian Church congregation in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he was the founding senior pastor.
